Symptoms

Esophageal carcinoma develops in the esophagus. It is the tube that moves food and liquids from the throat to stomach. It typically develops in the cells lining the esophagus. The process of cancer begins when normal cells expand uncontrollably and change. These abnormal cells can form tumors, which spread to lymph nodes as well as other body parts.

Treatment
