Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

An upgrade item is a unique item upgrader Kit that can make certain Pokemon change. The Upgrade is made by spinning a PokeStop photo disc. It's sometimes given as a prize at Pokemon GO events.

The Upgrade can also be put in weapons, armor trinkets, gathering tools and trinkets to boost their level of use. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests depending on the type of item upgrade.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be slotted into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to provide bonus effects or attribute bonuses when the equipment is utilized. Upgrade components are only available on equipment with an upgrade slot available. Most upgrade components also require that the item being upgraded is at a certain level. Some upgrade components have special visual effects that appear when they are applied. Upgrade components can be acquired through crafting, purchased from karma traders or traded with other players on the Trading Post, used to repair equipment, or obtained as rewards in games.

There are various upgrade components, each of which comes with a different bonus. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions, are able to be used in any type of equipment, and offer less bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions are utilized in non-amulet ascended equipment and legendary equipment, while enhancements are utilized for certain items that are ascended back. Most upgrade components can be replaced when they are slotted into an item, but doing so can destroy the previous upgrade. There are exceptions for glyphs (which can only be used in gathering tools) and Enchantments, which can be removed and then reinserted.

Insignias or enchantments, as well as upgrades with prefixes or suffixes will be displayed in the hover display of the item level upgrade, while they will be added to the equipment's name (e.g. a Radiant Insignia would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item upgrade will show the number of upgrades that have been added to it.

Glyphs

Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements like ligatures, fractions, ornaments, swashes registered trademark symbols, and ellipses. The Glyphs panel allows you to see and insert these particular characters, as well as standard glyphs such as em dashes and en dashes, registered trademark symbols and glyphs that don't appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).

Each Glyph provides a primary stat boost for the character. It also includes up to four Secondary Stats that affect the glyph's radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase that is multiplied by additional bonuses, with the exception of Speed Glyphs that directly increase the hero’s speed.

Selecting the Glyphs and then clicking "enchant" will activate the Glyphs. This will open a window that shows the Glyphs available to you. Make sure you select the right kind of Glyph can be applied to the item you are looking for and every weapon, jewelry or armor piece has distinct sets of Glyphs.

Glyphs can be upgraded through the use of Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult the dungeon, the greater the amount of Glyph experience you'll get. Once a Glyph reaches level 15 and is upgraded, it can be upgraded by the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The radius of the Paragon Board increases by one node every 15 levels that a Glyph is upgraded.

When a Glyph is at the desired level you can activate it. Select it, then click the "enchant button". The resulting glyph will give the stated bonus and also boost the other nodes that are within its range on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should go in areas that can benefit your build the most. This is why you should prioritize Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Rare glyphs, however, might offer dual benefits if certain conditions are fulfilled which is why they're worth checking out for too.

If you're having trouble finding a particular glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to show the panel in a variety of views. Each of these views displays the Glyphs in a different font. You can narrow down the selection of glyphs you want to see by selecting an option below "Entire Font". For example, punctuation is only displayed in punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols limits the options to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling

Rerolling is a process in which you open a new account to give yourself more chances to access the character or weapon you are interested in. It is done to for you to increase your level faster or to gain more loot, such as the purchase of a new weapon for your character. Many players repeat the roll until the character they want is available, regardless of its strength. It could be that they like the design or personality of the character.

You must ensure that you make a clean change when you restart. This means you should check locally that the patch is able to pass the pre-commit checks, and you should also run a core development check. It is also recommended to upload the patch to an issue with a plain diff (see What about an interdiff? ).

Rerolls can be weeks or days long, depending on how lucky you are. During this period, you should avoid enemy camps that are optional to avoid wasting time. Additionally, you should avoid re-doing any quests that could be completed later in the game. This can help you save time and energy.

Another important aspect to consider when rerolling is to be sure you are aware of the upgrade system. There are numerous ways to enhance your character's appearance and strength. This could include upgrading your weapons as well as rerolling your characters and purchasing upgrades. It is also important to know the limitations of the system.

Rerolling might not be a necessity but it's an effective way to increase your chances of obtaining the right character or weapon. You can use it to determine the best character or to test different styles of play and builds.

Sets

A set is an object collection having two common attributes (like the number or eggs in a dozen, or the members of a group). Sets can be used for operations such as union, intersection and difference.

If you upgrade a set item, it becomes a different version of itself that is better than the previous one. This means that weapons and armor will have a greater defense value and lower requirement for strength.

Upgrades can bring items that are popular from single sets up to parity with items in higher-level sets. For example upgrading Guillaume's Face Helm to Elite Spired Helm can increase the defense from 217 to 321 and reduces the strength requirement and level requirement to a more attainable range.

It's important to remember that not all items in a set can be upgraded. Certain sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's Shield spec or Naj's Puzzler staff, are already Exceptional and Elite in their own right and don't require upgrading. Some items, such as Goldwrap and Whistan's Shield (both BiS) that are frequently used may require an upgrade to improve their value. It may be worth it to upgrade these items.
