Izziwotnot’s Bailey Sleigh cot-bed isn't cheap but it's stylish and well made. It's simple to put together, but it does require two people. It's stunning in any nursery. Our panel loved the dark wood and dowel sides, and it's sturdy enough to be used until your baby is a toddler. It also meets British safety standards - the depth isn't so great that your baby can climb out, and the distance between the slats shouldn't be greater than 65mm, which will prevent their head from getting trapped. It is important to remember that you will need to purchase a mattress separately that is an additional PS88.

This cot stands out because of its shape-shifting sleigh design. It's also very easy to put your baby in and out of, which is a big benefit. It's a little bit more expensive than some other cot beds, however our panel thought it was worth the extra cash for the style and durability.

The cot bed is available in country pine or walnut finishes. It can be used from the time of birth. It has three useful mattress heights, so you can start your child off with the base high up so that they can easily get to them throughout the day and the night, and then lower it as they increase in height.
