How a Jaguar Smart Key Works

Jaguar smart key is a great way to lock and unlock your vehicle from the distance. However, like all electronics requires power - supplied by batteries.

If your Smart Key battery is beginning to degrade, your vehicle may signal this by a decrease in the effective range of its signals. The message center could also show the alert "SMART KEY BATTERY LOW".

Keyless Entry

This feature lets you enter your Jaguar without having to dig through your purse or pockets. The system uses proximity sensors to detect the Jaguar Smart Key fob, which triggers your XE's automatic opening. Security Enhanced
