The discography of the American rock group Toto includes 13 studio albums, 4 live albums, and several compilations. Toto has released original music and collaborated with other artists on soundtracks and films. The band has won multiple Grammy Awards for their work.

Before Toto was formed The members of the band did session work for other musicians. Drummer Jeff Porcaro, bassist David Hungate, and keyboardist David Paich (the son of session percussionist Marty Paich and brother of guitarist Joe Porcaro) played on Boz Scaggs 1975 album Silk Degrees. The group's collaboration led to the formation of Toto in the year 1976.

Turn Back, Toto's third studio album, was criticized by critics for not having hit singles. In 1985, singer Fergie Frederiksen resigned from the group The group held auditions for a new frontman. The band picked guitarist Steve Lukather, and recorded Fahrenheit in the year 1986.
