The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy but it does not flex like other wagons we tested. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and does not lock tightly once folded. It is easy to maneuver however, and can fit through narrow 28-inch doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents who want an affordable second stroller for their travels. It earned an eye-catching score in our Strollers and Multiples test for weight and fold size which means it's lightweight, small when collapsed and easy to lift into a car trunk or closet. It also comes with a multi-position reclined seat and an integrated cup holder for the parent. Other features worth mentioning include two large hanging storage bags as well as 360-degree front wheels that absorb shock.

In our push and turn test, it did better than most of the other strollers that we tested, but it's still not the most comfortable to maneuver on uneven ground or through narrow doors. The sunshades it has are among the most compact we tested, with only direct overhead coverage and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a more extensive canopy.

The front wheels can be locked into forward positions or allow them to rotate which is helpful when traversing rough terrain. We let the front wheels to rotate on our walk along a stony path. It handled this reasonably well, even though it felt slightly more bumpy.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is a household name for their three-wheeled, all-terrain pushchairs for jogging, but they also have a wide assortment of strollers with four wheels.
