According to the report Miss Kelly was afflicted by a range of mental health issues, such as bipolar disorder, bulimia, and anorexia. She was also abused by her husband and was an addict to drugs. Stress, anxiety and depression made her suffer more. She was also diagnosed with bipolar affective disorder and schizoaffective disorder.

Elayaperumal claims Medtronic discriminated against him in a deliberate way due to his race or national origin.
