Buying a Pram Newborn

Parents and caregivers can depend on pushchairs and prams to be multi-functional and versatile. They are the co-pilots of your child's next adventure.

A pram for newborns is a must for newborns and babies. It has the most solid, sturdy carrycot that has soft and secure walls.

A pram is typically equipped with a bassinet. However, it can be converted into a stroller seat when baby is ready.

Safety

The newborns of today are extremely fragile and must be kept as secure as is possible. A stroller or pram equipped with safety features will ensure that your baby is safe and comfortable during travel. A pram or stroller must have a working break and a 5-point harness (2 shoulder straps and two waist straps and a crotch belt) and a wrist tether for the person pushing it. Be sure that the model you are considering is in compliance with these requirements before you purchase.

It should be possible to store bags for shopping and changing under the pram (but remember that too much weight could cause it to tip over).
