Mesothelioma

Mesothelioma is a condition that occurs when asbestos fibers cause irritation to the tissues that surround many of your organs. The cancerous cells begin to grow.

The most prevalent type of mesothelioma affects the lung lining (pleura). Less-common forms affect the abdomen's lining and the surrounding lining of the testicles.
