Slot Missions in Hogwarts

Slot missions can be a great method to get gear, weapons, and more. They're hard to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot permits you to carry pistols on the course of. Some players use this to achieve certain goals, especially those going for Suit Only. Others prefer to have the extra pistol as an additional gap. When you use this slot, you need to keep in mind that you'll need to click the appropriate pistol category button, for instance the alternate slot 2 for machine guns, in order to select the appropriate category. Having Major Expedition and Adept Rider active makes this much easier to do. This combo can also trigger a damage tick from Concealed Weapon every 10 seconds for as long as it is slotted.

Smuggled Item Slot

The smuggled item online slot machines is an amazing feature that allows players to bring tools and weapons into the game, but it could be improved. It's currently designed as a pistol which makes it difficult to distinguish the smuggled items slot from other gear slots with free bonus Rounds.

The smuggle slots can be used to store a wide assortment of items, from concussion devices and explosives for weapons to more subtle concussions. These items can be found in a variety of hidden locations around the map. They can be picked up at anytime. The items that are smuggled differ from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes that hide small objects in scenery and objects.

Mission planning is a feature that is available in episodic missions that lets players unlock different starting locations as well as smuggled items and gear slots ahead of their entry into the map. These planning options increase as players progress through challenges and unlock higher Mission Mastery levels. This allows players the ability to create the perfect mission for every difficulty.

Gear Slot

The gear slots will quickly get full early in the game, resulting in the common message "Your Gear Slots Are Full". This message prevents Max from acquiring new equipment until the old items are removed or more space has been obtained. The solution is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which give players more inventory space in exchange for fulfilling challenging missions. However, because many of these challenges are scattered across the world and can be overlooked, it may take an extended time to obtain the maximum number of inventory slots available in-game.

The five Gear Slots of a player can be filled with up to five different gear types, which must be selected in the Gear Selection menu before a break-in begins. Each gear item (except for the Pistol) is a part of one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as a grouping of Grenades) only uses one Gear Slot.

Pickups by agencies

As you progress through Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups on the map. These locations allow you to keep items that don't fit in your concealed weapon or gear slot and retrieve them later.

These pickups are useful when your task requires you to pass through a frisk or you have a weapon with you that could raise suspicion. You can only hide one item at a pickup location.

This DLC adds new contracts for asset protection and security to the agency. To begin these missions simply talk to the receptionist at the agency and stock up on armor and snacks. Then, walk to the mission marker and spot a group upon arrival.
