If you're on a budget and don't require a stroller that doubles into a car seat carrier The Babyzen Yoyo is a good choice. It features a flip-flop-friendly one-step footbrake.

It's also a breeze to push and feels sturdy in navigating kerbs or woodland paths. It's also easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned a reputation for being the ultimate stroller that is light, ideal for city dwellers as for jet-setters. 2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a great choice for parents who want a stroller that can be used in a variety of ways. The Evenflo Pivot Xplore can be transformed from a stroller to an actual wagon by flipping the handle. Parents can then select which mode is best single buggy for their adventure. The wagon is able to accommodate two or more children between 6 months to 5 years old. It comes with a large storage basket that will hold all your necessities when you are on the move.

The Xplore has dual canopies which rotate from front-to-back, providing adequate sun protection for the entire family. It also has a footwell, which is not as deep or large as some wagons, so it may not be suitable for long-distance trips or napping.

The frame on the Xplore is solid and sturdy however it doesn't have as much flex as some of the other wagons we have tested. It is also more difficult to fold than many of the competitors and does not close tightly when folded. It is easy to move however, and it can be able to fit through narrow 28-inch doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents who want an affordable second stroller for their travels. It was awarded an impressive score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and fold size that means it's lightweight, small when collapsed and easy to put into a car trunk or closet. It also has a multi-position reclining seat and a parent cup holder. Other features worth mentioning include two large hanging storage bags as well as 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels.

It did better in our push and turn test than many of the strollers we tested, but it is nonetheless difficult to maneuver on uneven ground or through narrow doors. The sunshades on it were among the smallest strollers we tested. They only cover the top, and don't have windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a significantly larger canopy.

The Delta took us just over 3 minutes to assemble with an average manual, and none of the components required tools. However, it's missing certain essential features that we believe you should consider non-negotiable in a double stroller such as an extra-large basket and reclining seats that have adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is the most recent model in Maxi-Cosi's range of pushchairs and is advertised as an urban travel system. It is designed to accommodate baby from birth up to approximately 3.5 years, converting easily into a seat and carrycot in just a few clicks. It can also be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats and comes complete with the best lightweight single stroller Mico 30 infant car seat, a stay-in-car base, and a reversible car.

It's really easy to maneuver and the one-hand recline of the seat and the huge shopping basket make it easy for parents to get their child in and out of the seat quickly. Despite this being quite narrow, the pushchair handled the everyday bumps with ease and was able to pass through doorways without fuss.

The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward direction and can also rotate. This is helpful for navigating through rough terrain. When we walked on the stony path, we let them move and it performed well, though it did appear a little bumpier than others on test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is a household name for their all-terrain, 3-wheeler pushchairs for jogging, but they also offer a great range of 4-wheeler strollers. City Tour 2 is their most loved model. It is simple to fold and fits into the trunk of a car even with a carrycot attached.

It is a bit heavier than other strollers that we tested however the wheels are made of rubber composite so it feels well-made and sturdy. It's a breeze to maneuver across all types of terrain and it's easy to carry even with two kids and shopping bags.

The carrycot and seat both have hoods with pull-down UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are waterproof and strong, unlike some other prams' hoods that are bounced back into toddlers' faces.

It's not a lot of storage space, but it does have a large basket that's deep enough for a changing bag and plenty of groceries. It can also be used with a Baby Jogger car seat for infants that weigh up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are sold separately). If you need a stroller that can be taken on the road, the City Tour 2 is an excellent choice.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was a stroller that captured the hearts of many parents when it first appeared. It's an aluminum-framed stroller that can be used from infant's earliest days through. It has many standout features, including the ability of the seat to be flipped between parent and world facing and a huge UPF50+ canopy, an eye-shade that flips out, as well as an adjustable handlebar.

The chassis has an integrated suspension system that helps reduce the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are made of tough foam and reduce punctures. Our test driver found it easy to push and was able to manoeuvre it through narrow streets without difficulty.

It folds automatically and locks in just four steps. It also stands and can be carried by trolley for easier transport in the trunk of your car or down the stairs at home. It also comes equipped with the ability to add a car seat or carrycot with the adaptors included. The brakes are easy to use, using a single color coded and flip-flop compatible.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget pushchair is easy to use and comes with an excellent dual suspension. It folds with one hand and comes with a convenient carrying strap. It's also very light and durable. The seat can be reclined into several positions. It has a built-in double breathable mattress that is suitable from birth.

The canopy/seat has two extra-large fixed or flip out sun visors. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn’t ideal since it's not as silent as Velcro, and can wake up napping babies.

The Duet is a side-byside stroller and can be adapted to accommodate twins or other siblings (up to a maximum of 22kg per seat). It's compatible with two infant car seats and works with a few carrycots. In twin mode the seats can be placed so that they face each other. They can also be oriented towards the parents. This can help to reduce sibling arguments over who sits with dad and mom. It comes with a large gear tray with a bottle holder as well as snack tray. It also comes with an automatic frame lock and a compact fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban glide 2 is the perfect jogger for parents who love to be active. It's among the lightest running strollers you can buy for your child.
