Best Lightweight Single Stroller

This is the lightest and most compact travel stroller available. Its sleek design makes it easy to fold into a neat rectangular shape and the wheels turn more smoothly than other models.

It also comes with a huge under-seat storage space and an arm-strap that makes it easy to lug around when not pushing it. The canopy adjustment can be loud and could wake children who are asleep.

1. Contours Itsy

The Contours Itsy is a compact stroller with a lot of features for its size. The back basket under the seat has a spring loaded mechanism, which means you can move the basket to place a backpack or diaper bag and then it will pop up to secure its contents. It comes with a child's accessory holder as well as an adjustable seat pad that reclines. This is more than you would find on a typical lightweight stroller.

It also has a canopy that can be closed and opened to get the level of sun protection you want. The handlebars are height-adjustable to ensure a comfortable fit in four different positions. We weren't too impressed by the ride quality on rough surfaces. We found that the wheels and suspension didn't perform a great job of absorbing bumps and shocks.

It's an ideal travel stroller because it arrives in a box fully assembled, and requires only few steps to get it set to use. The seat can be moved forward and backwards to adjust the recline. It's quite flat. Two buttons on the frame allow it to fold and unfold. It also fits in an easy-to-carry bag when it's not being used. It's actually one of the smallest strollers we've tested, and it easily can meet the requirements of many airlines for gate-checking and cabin storage on planes. 2. Kolcraft Cloud Plus

This stroller is a great option for those looking for an easy-to-travel stroller. It has all the features parents are looking for in a stroller. It has all-terrain tires and front suspension for a smooth ride. It is also extremely lightweight, weighing less than 12 pounds. It has a simple one-hand and Pushchairsandprams self-standing fold. It has two cup holders on each tray for the parent and child.

Its build quality, however it is too low and it did not score well in our maneuverability tests. It also features a flexible frame that makes pushing it across rough terrain seem like lifting a huge weight. It may be fine if you use the stroller only on sidewalks with paved surfaces. However, for most people, it's not ideal.

The Cloud Plus has a three-tier extended canopy and a peek-a-boo window for added sun protection. The seat is multi-position and can accommodate children as heavy as 50 pounds and has a 5-point safety restraint system. This is an excellent feature for older toddlers who have outgrown their infant car seats.

It comes with a single-step and compact folding mechanism and can be collapsed with just a touch of the button. It also has a convenient brake that can be operated by a foot, which is simple and easy to adjust and release.

However the handle is a bit lower than other strollers we've tested, and some parents may feel uncomfortable for long periods of time. It does have an adjustable handle lock that keeps it in place when open, though. This is a great feature to have if you are planning to use the stroller on uneven or gravelly terrain.

3. Munchkin Sparrow

The Munchkin Sparrow is the ultimate travel stroller for parents who are on the move. This ultra-compact stroller is a breeze to fold up and down, and fits easily in overhead compartments on planes and in trunks at the amusement park (no worries about parking charges). It comes with a carry bag that zips up for convenient storage. It can be used with the infant car adapter right from birth and offers good sun protection by utilizing its canopy. The only issue for some parents is that they feel the look cheap and utilitarian.

The BabyZen Yoyo+ is a bit more expensive than the other single stroller sale strollers that are lightweight, but it was designed specifically for luxe urban living and travel. It's one of the strollers that fold easily, and comes with a handy carry case. It has plenty of storage space, including a cupholder. The seat reclines to almost flat for both child and adult. This is the only stroller on our list that can be used by infants with the car seat adapter. The handlebar is not adjustable and could pose a problem for some parents who are short.

The UPPAbaby Minu V2 isn't the lightest stroller on our list, but it comes with a ton of amazing features that make traveling with kids easier. The spacious seat reclines into a flat position, and it comes with extra padding to make those plane napping sessions more comfortable. The extendable canopy offers good sun protection, while the parent tray is spacious with plenty of storage. It also has an adjustable handle that doubles as the footrest when folded. This footrest, however appears to be prone to damage from baggage handlers.

4. Uppababy Mini V2

Uppababy Minu V2 is an elegant stroller that is stylish and has a high-end design and quality. Its compact size allows it to easily navigate narrow sidewalks and tight spaces, however its robust construction means it can handle rough terrain without compromising your child's safety. Front and rear spring-action suspension creates a noticeably more comfortable ride for both of you, while its sturdy materials ensure it can withstand the wear and tear of everyday life without losing its shape. Plus it can be extended to accommodate additional items such as a bassinet or infant car seat.

In our tests, the Minu was a breeze to fold and move around, even with a baby in hand. Its squat, almost square fold, which folds in thirds, is among the most simple folds we've seen and allows it to fit in overhead compartments on planes or in public transportation. It has a single-action color-coded brake that is simple to use.

The seat comes with an adjustable recline in multiple positions and a single-handed adjustable leg rest, which makes it easy to find the ideal position for your child. The UPF 50+ canopy can be lowered quite a ways to shield Cora's face from the sun. The medium-sized mesh peekaboo window is magnetically attached to the canopy, and it closes without the use of noisy Velcro.

The Minu weighs just under 15 pounds and comes with an integrated handle that makes it easy for carrying. It also comes with a shoulder strap. 5. Joovy Aire

Joovy is a well-known brand that makes various strollers. This lightweight model is a great choice for parents who want a sturdy stroller that can transport children around, has plenty of storage space, is relatively easy to maneuver and doesn't require a high engineering degree to fold. It's not the ideal choice when you're looking for a car seat-compatible model or a double stroller, though. It does not accept infant car seats. Your children must be able sit up on their backs before they can use it.

This stroller comes with a number of solid features, and it comes with a hefty price tag. It scored a higher rating in our review of maneuverability than other strollers with similar specs, and it's an excellent choice for smooth paved surfaces. It has a huge parent tray, canopy, and plenty of storage. The handlebar is smaller than average and the front wheel suspension is a bit stiffer but it's still comfortable for adults.

If you have twins or two children of different ages, you could consider a stroller that is side-by-side is the best option to get them around. Our favorite is the Joovy Twin Groove. It comes with a variety of features and a small footprint that allows it to fit in places where other side-byside strollers aren't.

It has individually reclining seats as well as a large canopy that has an opening window that can be seen from afar and lots of storage. It's a bit heavier than other side-by-sides however it has a decent capacity for weight and can handle most children up to 50 lbs. You can also add an infant bassinet to the front of the stroller for infants.

If you're looking for an even more luxurious version of this stroller, the Caboose RS Sit and Stand Stroller is an excellent alternative. It comes with the same great features and can be fitted out with a bassinet, so you can bring your baby home with style from the hospital.
