Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 - Combos That Are Easy to Use

Certain models are difficult to remove or attach from the base. The Doona Combo requires a two step attachment process, and straps that cover the bottom of the infant carrier. It's tempting to bypass these steps, but this could lead to unsafe outcomes.

Similarly certain models are difficult to fold and put away and store away, making them less convenient than others. Graco FastAction 3 in 1 Car Seat Stroller is difficult to fold because of its huge dimensions and bulky frames. Some reviewers are also disappointed by the canopy on this model disappointing. The Britax Parkway Combo Click and Go is easy to fold, with only a push of a button and pulling the lever. This model is an excellent choice for parents who want to use their car seat in other people's vehicles, since it can be easily removed from the base.

Easy to Fold

Whether you're storing the car seat on its own or in the trunk of your vehicle or even in a closet, it must be simple to fold and unfold. The most efficient combinations we've tried fold easily with one hand and are sturdy enough to withstand long walks. They are also easy to maneuver and glide smoothly over uneven surfaces. We've seen a few combinations that can only be joined or disengaged using straps which can be a hassle and make it more difficult for parents to secure the car seat correctly.

We are awestruck by the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo due to its practical features and sturdy build, which includes a large storage basket that can be accessed from the front to back. SafeCenter LATCH, an exclusive feature of the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo allows you to install car seats by connecting the lower anchors and securing the straps.

It's also fairly light and compact, making it an excellent choice for frequent travelers or families with multiple vehicles. Both the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo, and the Thule Urban Glide 2 scored high in our ease of use tests. Both come with one front wheel that is easy to push (one-handed! ) and a versatile swivel front wheel that's perfect for shopping or running around. The only downside is that they're very heavy, so it's difficult to lift them up when you're carrying a child in the car seat.

Easy to Assemble

Some stroller and car seat combos can be tricky to put together. We found that the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo was one of the easiest to build, and it even includes a handy quick-start guide which makes putting this system together an easy task. Other models we looked at, such as the UPPAbaby Minu, UPPAbaby Vista V2 Thule Urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal, were also fairly easy to assemble. The BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo however isn't easy to put together. It requires two steps to attach the lower anchors as well as using straps to cover the bottom of the carrier. It's also heavy, and it takes two hands to snap the carrier into the base, then detach it from the base.

In our tests we took about 5 minutes to put the UPPAbaby v2 together, which is a bit quick when you consider the amount of time is saved by not having to remove the pieces. Most of these models have a simple process for attaching and detaching the toddler seat, but there are other options as well.
