Concealed Weapon Slot

Mission planning is an option available in missions that are episodic. It lets players unlock different starting locations, smuggled objects and gear slots before they enter the map. Gear Slot

The gear slots will quickly fill up early in the game, resulting in the common message "Your Gear Slots are Full". This message prevents Max from acquiring new equipment until the old ones are removed or more space is obtained. The solution is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which offer more inventory space in exchange for the completion of challenging missions. However, as the majority of these challenges are scattered throughout the world and can be missed, it can take some time to get the most inventory slots in the game.

The five Gear Slots of a player can be filled with up to five different types of gear. These must be selected from the Gear Selection menu before a Break-In can begin. Each individual gear item (except the Pistol) will take up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like a group of Grenades that are of the same type) only uses one Gear Slot.

Agency Pickups

As you progress through Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups across the map. These locations allow you to keep items that aren't suitable in your concealed weapon or gear slot. You can get them back later.

These pickups are useful if your mission requires you to go through a frisk, or if you have a weapon with you that could raise suspicion. You are only able to hide one item at a pickup location.

This DLC also includes new asset protection and security contracts to the agency. To begin these missions simply contact the agency receptionist and stock up on armor and snacks. Once you've reached the marker for your mission, identify a mob upon arrival.
