Ghost Immobiliser 2

Ghost unlike trackers, doesn't emit radio frequency signals, and therefore cannot be detected by diagnostic tools. Ghost does not have LED indicators or buttons to indicate its presence in your vehicle or van.

Anti-key cloning

The Ghost immobiliser was designed to combat key cloning. The device connects to your vehicle's CAN data network and creates an unique pin code push sequence using the buttons that are factory-installed on your dashboard and steering wheel. This prevents thieves from being able to start your vehicle. If the wrong PIN code is entered, the engine isn't able to start, making it impossible for them to leave with your pride and joy.

Ghost immobilisers are new technology that is extremely difficult for thieves to beat. Unlike physical deterrents like wheel locks and steering locks that can be cut off or taken, the ghost immobiliser is an invisible electronic device that cannot be detected by common thieves, as it doesn't emit any radio signals and works silently.

OBD port hacking

OBD port hacking is the latest method employed by professional auto thieves to steal vehicles. Thieves have access to your vehicle's OBD port with little more than a laptop, an application, and a few cables that can be purchased online for under PS50. Once they have access to your vehicle's OBD port, they can do whatever they want including setting fault codes, and tuning your vehicle to taking your joy and pride away in just a few seconds.

It can prevent your car from being taken away by requiring a unique PIN code to be entered with your key fob prior to you start the engine or drive away. It communicates with the vehicle's ECU (Engine Control Unit), using the CAN Data Circuit. It is not detected by any scanners for RF or code grabbing. It also comes with a Service/Valet option that allows your vehicle to be started without needing the PIN code.

To use an OBD hacking device you need to have an operating system that is capable of interpreting the OBD protocol. These can be purchased for under PS100 on eBay or Amazon. You will also need an OBD cable that has OBD pins that are connected to the CAN bus. These can be found on Amazon/Ebay for around PS50. The cable needs to be spliced into the wiring harness of your car, for example the radio wiring harness.

Once the hacker has established a connection to your vehicle's OBD port, they can send diagnostics to the system at high baud rates which can cause CAN to crash, and prevent systems within your car from working. This can cause the engine to stop and doors to lock, or even the brakes to be engaged.
