The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option if you're looking to buy an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It gives a great mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

During testing, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. However, unlike other models, it doesn't use LIDAR to help you map your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the top-rated robots. It is a powerful cleaner and a variety of features that include the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. The robot also learns your cleaning habits and suggest schedules that are automatic to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the touch of a button. You can select the general clean option that focuses on the removal of larger pieces of debris like cereal and rice. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that your entire home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vacuum cleaner with mopping performs well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some other models, and it can even remove pet hair without difficulty. It's not able to work with carpets that are high-pile or plush however iRobot says that future models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that focuses on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are common however we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has a superior filtration system which blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We like the claim, but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart robot floor mop navigation system employs sensors that remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology to map your interior. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those on higher-end models. Its mopping system is better as its spinning pads scrub floors better than the vibrating pads.

The only drawback is that it doesn't have an additional rubber brush to allow to provide more thorough cleaning, but that's an acceptable cost to pay if are looking for one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank also bigger than those on many of its competitors and takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the highest dirt level.

For the mopping device, I was amazed with its ability to scrub off the tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less abrasive than the higher-powered ones generate very little noise, which allows you to work or watch TV without interruption. It will gently hit furniture or [Redirect-Java] walls and then move on whenever it comes across one.

What distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely on its own, with no need for user intervention. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app is good at nagging you only when something needs attention, for example, the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session being cancelled due to a full dust bin.

You can also combine or create rooms to alter the way Q Revo treats your home. This feature is helpful when you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or if you need to regularly remove clutter, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum was also among the best performers in my test cleaning up debris from carpets and hardwood floors with the first attempt. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that has all the features you could need. It comes with an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties the mop pads to keep them fresh and ready for reuse. It also has a new sensor system that better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version has a sleeker, more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds--the robot itself and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it has faster battery charging and can handle a complete cleaning of around 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also has a bigger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Finally, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as voice assistant that operates offline, which means you can control it even when you're not at home. It also comes with more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean certain rooms or areas of your house instead of just following a set route.

The Omni Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested, due to its mop pads that rotate to clean tough stains away and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also outstanding, and it also increases suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It has a large rechargeable battery that can last up to a week. The mopping feature of the robot is also powerful.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end model that offers a number of features that aren't typically found on robots in this price range. It can create detailed floor maps and detect various flooring types. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice, but they also push the L10s into the luxury category. This could mean it's more expensive than homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is tall and slim, with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features a large bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture as you move around your home. Behind the pane at the front is additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, you'll find one button that serves as the on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and pressing it again will shut off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The circular menu in the center of the control panel allows users to select cleaning options, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open up the app's settings menu where you can alter how the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your house. This helps the robot clean and mop efficiently, without getting stuck. The LIDAR also helps the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles and obstacles, which is a wonderful feature for families with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hardwood floors and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops also perform well in removing 98.4% debris from our tile, carpet, and wood tests. It wasn't as effective at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
