Natura &Co completed the acquisition of Avon Products, Inc. in January, making it the fourth-largest pure-play beauty brand in the world. The shareholders will own 76% of the new company. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.

As the CEO of Natura &Co, Joao Paulo Brotto Goncalves Ferreira is tasked with growing the company's international presence. He previously worked for Unilever in Brazil and Latin America, where he was Vice President-Supply Chain. He holds a MBA from the University of Michigan.

He has led Natura through the change from an old direct selling company to modern, digital ones. The company's digitalization led to productivity growth and the implementation of 17 consecutive quarters of growth.

In January, Natura &Co plans to start trading its shares through ADRs on the New York Stock Exchange. This will let the company leverage its brand synergies, expand its product range and reach more than 200 million people around the world.

The company also has appointed a new senior leadership team to drive the next phase of growth. Roberto Marques will serve as the Group Chief Executive Officer, and Angela Cretu, will manage the company's global operations. Besides overseeing the global stewardship of the Natura brand She will also be responsible for the company's operations and innovation outside of Latin America.

Before joining Natura, Joao Paulo spent twenty years at Unilever, where he held a variety of positions, including Vice President of Supply Chain. His last position with the company was Vice President of Operations & Logistics.

Ferreira is also a part of the Executive team of the C-Suite Department at the company. He isn't a person who is a person who asks questions later but spends first.

Angela Cretu

Avon's CEO is passionate for empowering women through beauty. Avon has donated US$1.1 million to breast cancer research thus far. Avon does not just give money away however, it also allows employees to express their opinions without fear of reprisal.

Avon's new Chief Executive Officer will continue to drive the company's goal of empowering women while accelerating growth profitability. She will oversee Avon's Latin America operations and will succeed Roberto Marques, who was appointed Group CEO of Natura &Co.

Fernando J. Acosta

Acosta is among the most senior executive leaders at Avon. Acosta was appointed Senior Vice President and Latin America President in 2011. He was recently named Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer. This position will report directly to Charles Herington, the Company's Executive Chairman.

He spent many years at Unilever before joining Avon. He has a wealth of experience creating consumer-focused companies and establishing them in emerging markets. He is also an investor and member of the board at RoC Skincare New York.

He is the Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer at Avon. In the meantime, he has led the development of a new method of social selling using technology.

Fernando Acosta started his career as an apprentice manager at Unilever. He has worked in the United Kingdom and Europe. Later, he held top-ranking positions within Unilever's Latin American operations.

From 1999 to 2004, he served as the Category President for Latin America at Unilever. His job included overseeing the most popular brands of the company such as Dove. Additionally, he was also involved in the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty which was a global campaign which launched new products such as Pro Age.

After his time as the senior vice president of Unilever's Middle Americas division, he moved to an international position. From 2006 to 2008 he was the Brand President of Dove Global at Unilever. In that time, Avon sales leader he was based in New York.

In the past, he served as a Regional President for Latin America at Avon. His responsibility included driving sales and developing the brand's Latin American strategy. He also helped develop innovative product lines such as Pro Age.

James Scully

Avon has made a number of major changes to its leadership team. Kimberly Ross, Avon's chief financial officer has resigned to become Baker Hughes Inc.'s CFO in October. The company is also looking for a permanent CFO.

Avon Products has announced that James Scully will become its new executive vice presidentand chief financial officer. He will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Sheri McCoy. He'll be responsible for all IT and finance functions.

Avon has opened a new headquarters in London and made many changes to streamline its business. Under the company's new leadership Avon has taken measures to reduce balance sheet leverage and improve profitability. It has also increased cost savings initiatives.

Avon also entered into a strategic partnership agreement with Cerberus Capital Management L.P. and will invest $435 Million in the company over the course of two years. ICR will provide capital market advisory services to the Company as part of the agreement.

James Scully will oversee the global supply chain of the company and will also oversee all finance and IT functions. He will also be responsible for the Avon's transformation plan. This is an essential element of the growth strategy.

Jim Scully is also a director at Avon and a board member of J.Jill. The new role he has taken at Avon will enable the company to implement its strategic plan. He brings strong operational experience to the Avon.

Miguel Fernandez, a former executive vice president at Herbalife will be named Global President of Avon. He has vast experience in e-commerce, complex customer management, and in executing growth strategies.

The Neiman Marcus Group is still searching for a permanent chief of finance. Two interim executives were hired.
