Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo Self Empty

Vacuum and mop combos take the guesswork out of keeping hard floors clean. These machines are perfect for quick cleaning between deep vacuuming.

Roborock S7 Max Ultra is an excellent option for those who wish to mop without touching the machine. Its base is large but not ugly and it can hold clean and dirty water tanks large enough for multiple sessions.

iRobot Combo j7+

The Combo J7+ is a variant of the fantastic Roomba j7 vacuum and adds an wet mopping function. The robot can remove sticky spills while staying clear of obstacles. It returns to its dock after its cleaning process. It's a great choice for homes with hard floors. It can also be used to clean tiles or rugs with mixed surface areas.

The Combo j7+, just like all Roomba models, is great in sucking up dirt. Its intelligent navigation is enhanced by iRobot OS technology and PrecisionVision which allows the robot to recognize the common objects that it encounters, such as cords or pet waste--and avoid them completely. The iRobot Combo j7+ can even evade furniture, including tall chairs with backs, which could trap the robot beneath them.

When the iRobot Combo j7+ realizes that it's in a place that needs to be cleaned using water, a small robot arm rises and swivels a mopping pad under it. It's a highly user-friendly system, and it performed flawlessly during my tests. It was not able to remove water-based liquids such as wine or juice. The mopping pad is washed and reused.

The iRobot Combo's front camera is also quite useful. It can spot dangers such as power cords and pet waste and will be sure to avoid them for thorough cleaning. This feature is better than most robot vacuums' cameras, as they may get stuck on items like rug tassels. The iRobot Combo ju7+ front camera has blind spots that could cause it to miss certain objects.

The iRobot Combo ju7+ may be costly however its performance is high enough to justify the price. It's received a good rating from customers, who like its smart features. However, it's worth looking at alternatives, like the Ecovacs Deebot X1 Omni. It's less expensive than iRobot Combo h7+, and it is able to respond to voice commands without the need for third-party integration. It also mop and vacuum in one pass. Plus, it has a huge water tank, and its mopping pads are self-cleaning.

Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision

The Scout RX3 Home Vision is a full-fledged robot vacuum and Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo Self Empty mop combo that comes with the features you'd expect from a premium brand. You can remotely monitor the home with its camera and you can even view it in action using the app. (Although the app doesn't offer the same high-resolution images like the camera).

The mops are great for cleaning tiles, wood and rugs and taking care of pet hair, and dirt. They also feature effective obstacle avoidance that doesn't push small and small objects, like toys or socks, across the floor. It's one of the best mopping robots that we've ever tested. It comes with a magnet strip that can be used to block off areas the robot won't be able to reach, like rooms with a lot of cables.

Unfortunately, the robot isn't equipped with other features that are expected of the type of robot it is. The mops are great however their maximum time of use of 60 minutes is lower than we'd like see in a product with such a price. Additionally, it doesn't empty itself into the charging station or follow up mopping sessions with the quick vacuum.

It's still a great option for those with large homes, since the cleaning and mapping processes are quick and efficient. The app is simple to use, and it allows you to create schedules. You can still use the remote to control it if do not want to connect to a strong WiFi connection.

The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision might be expensive, but its many smart features make up for it. The live monitoring feature for homes is excellent and it looks cool. It's a great choice for those with pets, small children, or who would like to keep an eye on their home while they are away. Many people who own an automated mop and vacuum say that they are amazed at how much their floors are improved after beginning to use them regularly.

Roborock S7 Max Ultra

Roborock's latest robotic vacuum and mop combo self empty model, the S7 Max Ultra ($1299 at Amazon), is a great upgrade over the already excellent S6 and S7 models. It adds a host of beneficial features, including more aggressive mopping and higher-powered suction (up to 5,100Pa, compared to earlier models' 2,400Pa). It also boasts precise lidar navigation, which functions as radar in 3D that is, it can see things like baseboards, chairs and furniture legs, and effortlessly navigate around them. It can also create custom cleaning routines that you can activate at a single tap like the "After Meals" mode that vigorously vacuums and scrubs kitchen floors.

This two-in-one has one unique feature that is not available on other robots: VibraRise, which raises the mopping plate when it detects carpeting, so it doesn't get the area rug wet, making mopping more efficient. It also comes with a deep-cleaning feature that vacuums and mops carpets with one step, getting rid of dust and dirt faster than spinning mops. The app can be used to schedule weekly cleanings, or to clean on the spot.

While the S7 Max Ultra does a great job at its intended tasks but it's not without a few drawbacks. The price is the most significant. It's the highest-priced robot vacuum and mop set-up I've seen. Other issues aren't specific to this particular model but more indicative of robotic vacuums as a category: it does not handle large spills and, sticky messes well.

The S7 Max Ultra can be easily set up: simply plug it in, connect it to your smartphone via Wi Fi and then begin cleaning. Once you've completed this, you can modify the settings of the app, such as setting no-go zones and scheduling cleanings.

Its impressive obstacle avoidance is a further plus. It only encountered two snags in tight spaces, which is significantly better than the S6 MaxV's 3 attempts and the X1 Omni's four tries. The app allows you to mark an object as temporary obstruction, and the S7 Max Ultra ignores it when it comes to cleaning.

Narwal Freo

The Narwal Freo is one of the few robots that incorporate mops and vacuuming in its design. It's also one of the more affordable combination bots we've reviewed in our review. The Freo's impressive cleaning efficiency and a wide range of options for customization make it a solid choice for any home that needs a combination cleaner. The absence of the latest obstacle-avoidance technology, as well as a sleek mobile application dampened our enthusiasm for this model.

The first step to get the Freo up and running is a quick scan of your home which helps it determine the space it will cover when cleaning. It takes around 30 seconds to complete this process. Once the Freo knows the location of everything, it can navigate more quickly in subsequent cleanings.

Freo can also register a room for either mopping or dry vacuuming. This enables it to be more efficient in switching between the two tasks. It's also smart enough to recognize the mop pads are dirty and will automatically return to the dock for refills, then head back out to dry clean hard surfaces.

The Freo's ability to vacuum and mop carpets is one of its strengths. The mops pads of its twin are automatically raised when the Freo comes into contact with carpet, allowing it to utilize less power and energy while still removing debris. It is also able to thoroughly clean up sand and oatmeal that has been spilled without the need for multiple vac/mop runs.

The Freo's unique tilted side brushes are inspired by street sweeper trucks and do a well in pulling in and sweeping out dirt particles. The rounded body and premium finish give the Freo an attractive appearance. You can interact with the self-emptying robot vacuum using an LCD touchscreen at its base station, but we preferred to control it from the app on your smartphone.

The app comes with a range of options to alter the Freo's behavior, including schedules for busy rooms and spot cleanings, and the option of activating the parental lock. You can also choose how long it takes the Freo to air dry its mop pads and how often you want it to empty its dust bin. You can specify the maximum size of the trash bin.
