Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary

Bentley's bespoke coachbuilding division, Mulliner, has designed a unique keycase to mark the centennial of the company. Made from Dark Stained Walnut and Piano Black veneer, it includes a flying "B" paperweight, a set keys, and a brochure with never-before-seen 1930 8 Litre images.

Aesthetics

Bentley is a company that takes its aesthetics seriously. As you approach a car like the Continental GT W12, its exquisite design is revealed through carefully selected lighting.

The Continental GT is the most sophisticated open-top Bentley ever made. The rear tonneau of Continental GT, for Bentley Mulsanne Key instance included the largest piece of dark-stained Burr Walnut veneer that was book-matched. Similarly, the electrically-operated glass sunroof and champagne cooler that incorporated hand-blown and hand-cut lead crystal bottles marked a new benchmark in luxury and innovation.

Design

They were inspired by the luxury private aircraft. The custom heating and ventilation as well as air conditioning system was developed to give each passenger the ideal climate control settings.

The Mulsanne comes with a twin turbocharged 6.75 litre W12 engine that generates 560bhp and 479lb-ft torque. This incredibly powerful power is paired with a new suspension system that gives Bentley's famously smooth ride.

In celebration of its Centenary, bentley key replacement cost introduced a custom-designed specification called the Centenary Specification for vehicles built in 2019. Personalisation

Bentley's bespoke division, Mulliner, allows customers to design their own vehicle. The guests sit at a collection of images called "mood stations" and choose a selection of photos ranging from scenic vistas to sporting events - that will inspire them to design their own. Each time a selection is made, the pattern that emerges will reveal the model, color and style preferences for the customized bentley keys.

The guests are given a key case made by hand that contains the R.F.I.D. enabled key cards. Keys can be adorned with Bentley Muliner Personalised welcome lamps that illuminate the path of the door's opening. They are adorned with the owner's name or logo as they approach the vehicle.

Bentley estimates that it requires 500 man-hours to build and build a Mulsanne. The main reason for this lengthy effort is a conscious refusal to embrace the latest technology. Instead of employing a machine for spacers to the perfectly matched leather seats, workers at the Crewe factory do it by hand.
