The headsets are still an excellent option for anyone seeking a pair of high-end headphones to wear in the train or plane, or at home while working. They feature a long battery life with excellent noise cancellation as well as clear audio. They also feature multipoint Bluetooth which means they can be linked to two devices at the same time and switch between them with just a touch. They also have an app that's not as customizable as other competitors however, it does offer numerous useful features.

The QC45s have an active noise cancelling feature that's very efficient. It can be a little too loud at times. The passive EQ modes are, however, more balanced and allow you to have more control over the sound signature of your music. They don't come with built-in microphones to provide voice command support, but they do feature an audio response from Google Assistant and their mics are great at filtering out background noise during phone conversations.

They are powered by one battery that lasts for up to 20 hours, which should be plenty for most people. The USB cable is included to charge your phone. It's not as user-friendly as Bluetooth but you get to listen to your music while you charge. They also work with audio devices that have 2.5mm ports, so you can take them on the road.

Monoprice BT-600ANC

There are three ANC modes to choose from high, medium and low. high. The low setting is perfect for blocking out the majority of ambient noise, however it won't keep out traffic or conversations that are loud. The medium setting is suitable for most environments, and the high setting will keep you isolated from everything except your music. The earcups are equipped with touch-sensitive controls that take some time to get used to. Swiping up or down on the pad controls the volume, while tapping or moving left or right switches the track. You can also double-tap to stop or answer a phone. It takes some time to master, but once you have the hang of it you will find it very useful.
