BMW Ghost Immobiliser

The Ghost uses CAN data bus to communicate with your vehicle. This prevents thieves from adding keys or replacing the ECU to bypass your security system as it requires a valid PIN code to begin the engine.

Unlike other immobilisers the Ghost does not use LED indicators or key-fobs. Instead it uses the buttons on your vehicle to allow you to enter a specific disarm sequence that you only are aware of.

Stop & Start

Our BMW ghost immobiliser is an innovative next-generation device that doesn't require cutting OEM wires or installing an aftermarket alarm and key fobs. It is connected to your BMW's CAN network and programmed with an encrypted, secure PIN code that can be accessible through buttons in your car. This allows you to enter the key push sequence that isn't present in the standard media menus, such as volume up/down, source, cruise control or air conditioning on that prevents your car from starting unless the sequence is entered. Service Mode / Valet Mode

When the service or valet mode is activated it will block your BMW from being driven once started, this prevents anyone from testing the vehicle while you are away. When you return, it will revert back to normal stopping your vehicle from being damaged or stolen once again.

Anti-Hijack

With the advent of high-tech thieves becoming increasingly and more sophisticated the security technology has to improve, which is why ghost 2 immobiliser problems has developed this discreet and discreet immobiliser. If you own a GPS device connected to your BMW and you want to utilize it to disable the Anti-Hijack function so that you can continue to use your navigation system when the vehicle is parked. If you own a smart-phone, you can also hook it up to your Ghost app to control the anti-hijack function and other functions.

Remote Control

We can connect the Ghost device with your mobile application to allow remote control of keyless start and go functions. This is helpful if you have to go somewhere in another location and valet or mechanic need to start your vehicle. The system will allow you to turn the vehicle on, select drive and exit service mode without needing keys. You can also see your vehicle's location in real-time on a map using your smartphone, perfect to track your car while on the move.

The Ghost can be installed in the dashboard area, or in the centre console. It is completely concealed and secure, and doesn't require any additional wiring. The device is connected to the vehicle's CAN Data Network (similar to an Ethernet cable) and a unique PIN code is embedded into it. This pin code has to be selected prior to the engine starting. This stops thieves from using a copied key or replacing the ECU in order to disable this system.
