In 2015 the World Health Organization concluded that glyphosate is likely carcinogenic. This active ingredient is found in Monsanto’s Roundup weedkiller. The panel ruled in Bayer's favor that federal laws preempt state laws requiring warnings of glyphosate-related illnesses.
