The Importance of Garden Flowers

Flowers add the color and beauty of gardens and the environment. They also play a role in the reproduction of plants and dispersal of seeds.

Roses

Lilies

Although there are more than 80 species of lily in the wild, only 20 have been chosen to be used as ornamental plants. The genus is comprised of over 100 different species of plants that are found throughout the world in temperate regions. The majority of species are adapted to woodland habitats but some species are able to thrive in grassland or marshy settings.
