What is an UK Rep?

A UK Rep is a person or company designated by a product manufacturer to handle certain duties related to compliance with UK product legislation. Depending on specific product legislation, it may include the preparation of UK Declarations of Conformity (DCC) for medical devices, or serving as the initial point of contact with the MHRA. Typically an Authorised Representative is also called a Responsible Person.

UK Reps are required for non-European companies who want to market their products on the UK market under EU directives or UK law. How do I choose a UK Rep?
