Sometimes I experiment with different materials just to see how they feel in daily life. Loose hinges make the glasses slide down the nose again and again. If they reply politely and give detailed answers, I feel more relaxed. Each material has advantages and disadvantages depending on season and activity. 
 
If anyone is interested in real user experiences, I sometimes write short notes about the shops I test.

If a piece of jewelry keeps its color and does not irritate the skin, I consider it a win. I think sharing honest feedback helps other buyers avoid the same mistakes. Many times I avoided a bad purchase just by reading a few careful comments. Comfort around the heel and toes is more important than super fancy design. I like when a shop clearly shows PD, lens height and bridge width in millimeters.
