It can prevent your car from being taken away by requiring a unique PIN code to be entered in conjunction with your key fob before you can start the engine or drive away. It communicates with the vehicle's ECU (Engine Control Unit), using the CAN Data Circuit. It is not detected by any scanning technology, RF or code grabbing. It also has a Service/Valet Mode that allows your vehicle to start without the PIN code.
