Easy to install

The first step is to remove the old cover from your key. The original cover must be removed before the replacement key for fiat 500 is able to be installed.

After removing the old cover You can then employ a flathead to remove the four major attachment clips from the driver side of fob assembly. These are marked in red in the image below. Take note of the yellow tabs that must also be disengaged.

After removing the battery replace it with a brand new CR2032 3 volt coin cell battery. Make sure that the "+" positive side of the battery is pointing to the opening in the fob, and that the -" negative side is facing toward the buttons made of rubber.

Reattach the passenger side mirror cover by aligning the locating tabs. After you have done this, place the driver side fob back in your vehicle and test it by pressing the push button on the front of the car key. If everything works correctly your car will turn on the parking lights and your doors will automatically lock.

Easy to remove
