Diagnosis

Doctors diagnose MDS by conducting an examination of your body and looking over your medical history. They may also request tests on your blood to count the amount of platelets, red blood cells and white blood cells that are present in your blood. A needle of a small size can be used to drain the bone marrow of fluid or a tiny solid piece of bone, along with its marrow. If they discover abnormal changes in blood cells, your doctor will likely suggest treatment.

Compensation
